INSTALLATION

To install the demo in your computer you must do the following:

1.- Extract the files contained in DEMO.EXE.
In the menu start-run select the file DEMO.exe and open it. At this point it is convenient to choose the directory DEMO to extract the files.

2.- Install the program in your computer:
Run the program setup of the directory DEMO and answer the questions, until the program tells you that installation is finished.

USE

The demo has only 129 enterprises.
Making click in START , you get the options to sort the information:

Name of the enterprise.- selects the enterprises in which name are contained the characters typed.

Brand.- Selects enterprises by their trade mark.

Location.- allows selection of:
- area code: where companies within the desired code range are selected.
- state: this option contains 31 states, the Federal District (Mexico City) and the metropolitan areas of Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey. Multiple options can be chosen each time, or when you make a click in METROPOLITAN AREAS it searches for companies located within the three metropolitan areas. If a state is not chosen, it searches in all of them.

Area of interest.- (only for metropolitan area of Mexico City).- allows you to select enterprises within a radio (approximately 900, 1,300 or 1,800 meters) around the area code selected.

Activities.- allows to choose a given type of business among those contained in the directory. If a type of business is not chosen, it searches in all of them.

Personnel.- you can select the number of the company's employees classified by range.

Foreign trade.- permits the selection of companies according to the kind of foreign trade they engage in: export, import or highly exporter.

Partnership.- you can choose among companies with state, foreign or private Mexican capital.
Clave SIC.- it is possible to find companies according to their business classification.

Ejecutives.- you can choose any of the eight position classifications contained in the directory, or write another generic position. If you choose Other, a blank space will appear where you can write the desired position, which will appear on the label; e.g.: Director of Logistics, .... Dept., etc.

Title.- you can select the profession of the executives classified in the directory.
Gender.- you can select the sex of the classified executives.

Enterprises.- allows you to select between all the enterprises in the directory or only the "new" (those incorporated).

Internet.- allows you to select enterprises with web page or e-mail.
Orden.- permits you to select the order in which the information will be given: alphabetically by name of the company, or numerically by area code number.

PROCESS .- searches in the directory under conditions established previously.

CANCEL.- cancels the search made previously.

After the search, the program will display the number of companies which respond to the established conditions, and the number of labels which can be printed (without duplicating the executives who work in two or more companies).
Where the companies shown are those that conform to the selection, and the number of labels is that which can be printed for the selection, and where:

CONSULT
shows the list of companies, and making "click" in each, the information appears on the screen, and where:
figures - executives - sales and personnel and executives of the company
plants - for industries, those whose location is different from that of the headquarters
subsidiaries - for groups, its subsidiaries,
holding information - shows information about the group to which it belongs, if applicable.

edit - address, U.R.L. (Internet page), e-mail, long distance code number, phone and fax numbers, name and position of its executives;
delete - eliminates a company

PRINT
information is obtained through the printer in any of the following forms:
- general information - prints general information about the companies, or adds: executives, figures, plants and subsidiaries, as well as the range of companies to be printed;
- lists - prints the name of the company, its executives, address, phone and fax numbers, type and size of the business;
- labels - permits the selection of the type of labels to be printed: mailing labels: complete address fax labels: phone and fax numbers and the kind of paper to be used: loose sheets or continuous paper.
- export data

RETURN.- goes back to the former display.

QUIT .- closes the program.
