Sources: A large number of telephone directories, business chambers and associations, newspapers and magazines and annual reports, the Mexican Stock Exchange and direct surveys of each company carried out through mail, phone, fax and e-mail.
Validity of the information: The survey ended in December 2009. The rotation rate of executives is about 25% per year. In addition, changes in addresses, telephone, fax numbers and specially emails are included, some companies disappear while others are created. The amount of data given for each company depends on the willingness of each to provide information, or else, on the possibility of obtaining it from other sources. It is estimated that approximately 28% of the country's companies with over 100 employees according to the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) are included, which could be identified and from which information was obtained.
